Follow-Up Conferences — Düsseldorf 2008

The fifth Follow-up conference of the Berlin Declaration entitled
Berlin 6 - Changing Scholarly Communication in the Knowledge Society takes place at Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Germany on November 11-13, 2008.

Five years after the initiative of the Berlin Declaration, the range of Open Access activities is constantly widening due to constant technical development and the perceivable drift within the different scholarly communities towards new forms of communication and collaboration.

This conference focuses on both technical and political aspects of Open Access sustainably influencing the academic world and beyond and it is offering a place for discussion on current and future issues as well as obstacles having the output of scholarly research openly accessible.

Please refer to the conference website for further details on the program and organizational information.
