MPS Open Access Network
The realisation of Open Access at the Max-Planck-Society is a joint task, as illustrated by the large number of projects listed under ongoing projects and completed projects.
An important aspect is the creation of a closer network between those that are active there and all other interested parties within the Max Planck Society (science, library, administration, IT) in the matter of Open Access, thereby creating an organisational basis for the exchange of experience and the provision of advice and support in decision-making processes.
MPS OA Mailing List
There is a mailing list that serves as a forum for all those interested in Open Access at the Max Planck Society. All members of the Max Planck Society with an interest in the issue of Open Access are warmly invited to subscribe to the list.
MPS OA Working Group
Besides the Open Access projects in the public eye, members of the MPS OA Working Group from Max Planck Institutes also work with the Open Access Policy Team of the Max Planck Society to compile information material on Open Access. The MPS OA Working Group has an internal mailing list and holds regular face-to-face meetings. The results of its work can be found in the internal OA wiki, which is freely accessible to Max Planck staff. All members of the Max Planck Society interested in working with this group are cordially invited to do so. Please send an e-mail to: open-access@mpdl.mpg.de.
